My absolute favorite go-to site for language content when I need an ESL/EFl lesson in a pinch is Weather Underground wunderground.com.
I a few things I have used it for:
- Compare/Contrast (Summer is hotter than winter)
- Past/Present/future (Today will be cooler than yesterday. Last week the weather was mild))
- Understanding the fahrenheit system (Is 30 degrees fahrenheit very cold?)
- Giving advice (Thunderstorms are predicted for tomorrow. You should....)
- Phrasal Verbs (Many trees were blown down by the winds)
